Love what @rockwell_interiors did! #gldglove #wallplay . . . @Regranned from @rockwell_interiors - This is my version of a modern beach house 🌊 These clients moved to La Jolla from Germany and told me they wanted the house to feel beachy... frankly- i struggled a bit w this... because the house was far from a “beachy type house”... So- for me, the answer was a light neutral palette in sandy tones with touches of blue/grays, woven natural textures + after looking thru a lot of your typical beach type art I decided to customize these two ocean pieces by enlarging the scale and putting a lacquered glaze over top finished w a thin white acrylic floater frame - and there on the stairwell back wall is my custom art install made of casted sea crustaceans + various shells.
